needle point

this is one of my treasures I found at goodwill one day.I liked the colors and the hard work that went into it.the price was right and I desided my home was the right place for it.I wondered who made it and if they would be sad to see it at goodwill if they made it for someone.but I figure I would treasure it if the one who had it didnt."no matter where I rome my home is always home sweet home." its nice to visit but OOO so nice to get home. Posted by Picasa

That is absolutely beautiful. Hard to imagine why someone would give it away. Glad you got it. I hate sewing and things like that but I certainly can appreciate the work that went it that. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.

You have such a sweet spirit. Looking out for the feelings of an unknown artist is precious.
I hope that every time you look at the needlepoint, the lord blesses you with that wonderful feeling only He can give.

Looks beautiful and much thought and work went into it.
I, too, love to go places but am happy to get back home to my family. Home is where the heart is!
If you ever want to read about how I found my home, go to my book site at

which I think you might enjoy!

This is beautiful! Funny, I was soon going to share a pic of a lovely doll with a crocheted dress that I found at Goodwill. I thought the same thing, "Wonder if this woman would appreciate this being thrown in a pile at Goodwill". I most certainly appreciate another womans hard work and time.

A great find!

Things are always special when someone else makes them, precisly why my christmas tree is always filled with the homemade orniments every year. I love how people thought so much of me to make me something, much more heart in something homemade, than store bought. I bet whoever made this "home sweet home" picture would love to know it means a lot to someone, if not the intended person..
