Hi Leann. I've had some badblog days too, but they are few and far between. All in all it still gives us a lot of pleasure. Congrat's for making it over the 1000 mark. I don't keep track of mine anymore. I used to with the old blog, which is still getting an occassional visitor.
I just really enjoy my blog friends and love sharing bits and pieces of our lives.
God bless you and your blog.
Love, MM

Leann, I read your Indian story and thought how wonderful it was. You should get a good editor and put together your stories into a book for children. The stories teach so much about a way of life that children would love to know about.

Thanks for sharing the stories that are in you!

Hi Leann ~~ Sorry you lost a post when you had worked hard on it. Did you try "Recover Post" at the bottom of the blog page. Sometimes it works. Glad you enjoyed the jokes when you were feeling down. The Winter storms should soon be over
and brighter days help. Take care,
Love, Merle.

Congratulations on going over a thousand!
I am sorry you lost your post. It has happened to me more times than I care to remember. Computers can be very frustrating.
I don't look at stats. I have a counter that I used to click on to see when my family had read but when the volume increased it was hard to find them. The last time I clicked on it was back in July. I don't know why I have so much traffic. I have that "what your blog is worth thingie" but I have no clue as to how it works.

Have a wonderful day!

Hi Leann thanks for stopping by and leaving some encouraging words. My blog was started as what is known as a 'bridge' blog, which means one that has links related to christian things but the posts generally are not christian in nature, except on occasion. The idea is web evangelism. The blog was featured on the IE Day Internet Magazine as an example of doing gentle evangelism to a completely unchurched audience. Why I was despondent is that it seemed to draw mostly those who are christians already. Not that I don't value their friendship but I found very few non-christians came. Although there are at least two regular visitors who are plainly not christians.I realized again today that even the effort for one who is lost is not in vain.
Thanks again for stopping by.

About 'blog this' I have found it works for me except it doesn't always transfer the pictures and the formatting has to be redone often. One of the great tools I have found is Google Docs and Spreadsheets which is an online wordprocessor. What I do is write there and then open a second copy of my browser and drag my piece over into my blog. That way I have a copy of the original on file also. And it handles graphics well allowing you to place them where you want.
